How does Live-in care work?

LIVE-IN CARE

The term ‘live-in care’ generally refers to care and support provided by a carer who stays with you in your home.

At Paragon Home Healthcare our live-in care is provided by carefully selected and nurse-trained carers who live-in with you. They provide care and support during the day and stay with you overnight for round-the-clock reassurance.

Our Live-in care is bespoke to your needs, from medication management and mobility support all the way through to highly complex care management such as specialist spinal cord injury, dementia or neurological care. Our dedicated carers are carefully selected and trained by our experienced nurses. The specialist nursing team are available 24hrs a day for advice and guidance.

Clients requiring live-in care have a team of two live-in carers who each work on a rotational basis for around 2 weeks so you have consistent staff and care. Your carer team is built around you and we work closely with you through the shortlisting and selection process, organising meet and greets so you feel comfortable chatting and spending time with your carer. When it is time for the carer to take over a handover is provided so staff are apprised and prepared. We are dedicated to causing as little disruption as possible during changeover of staff.

We provide specialist nurse-led live-in care in and around London and can respond as quickly as required.
