We cater to a range of needs, from specialist spinal injury live-in care to teams of carers for day and night shifts. Our goal is to empower you to live life your way, within the comfort of familiar surroundings. Our offerings aim to bolster independence and promote well-being, all under the watchful eye of expert nurses and field supervisors. Our services are regulated by the Care Quality Commission.
Catherine Hellary, an experienced advanced nurse practitioner specialising in homecare and passionate about outstanding care, established our organization and Anita Osborn, our Director of Nursing and Quality, contributes her extensive experience in nursing and quality management. Our management team, led by Ainhoa Larrhea, Care Supervisor Manager, and Petra Sarkany, Service Manager, both possess significant homecare experience and began their careers as carers, providing an invaluable perspective. Our devoted head office team, handpicked for their skills, help run our highly-rated homecare services.
The foundation of Paragon Home Healthcare lies in the core values of care, compassion, and dignity. We strive to ensure that every member of staff we recruit aligns with our ethical values and approach.
We firmly believe in working in partnership with various specialist services to ensure comprehensive and tailored care for our clients. By collaborating with these services, we can tap into their expertise and resources, leading to improved outcomes and enhanced quality of life for our clients.
We take great pride in our support for the Spinal Injuries Association (SIA) and their crucial work. We collaborate with them to enhance the lives of individuals affected by spinal cord injuries.

Live-in care
Our live-in care is tailored to fit your specific needs as outlined in your care plan, from personal care and mobility assistance to specialized care for conditions like spinal cord injuries, dementia, or neurological issues. Our committed carers, expertly chosen and trained by our experienced Clinical Team, are on hand around the clock for advice, support, and field assistance.
In terms of staffing, live-in care clients typically have a duo of carers alternating every few weeks based on the client's preference. We manage care schedules to avoid the need for relief carers, thus limiting the number of individuals you interact with. Clients play an active role in selecting carers via meet-and-greet sessions, ensuring comfort with their care team. We emphasize smooth transitions between carers to minimize disruption and ensure that all staff members are adequately prepared for their shifts.
Spinal injury care
Our care service for spinal cord injury survivors is driven by the fundamental belief in independent living for all, enabling a fulfilling life within the comfort of their own homes, bolstered by exceptional specialised care. We forge important collaborations with NHS and Private Spinal Injury Centres, working closely with their teams to craft comprehensive care plans tailored for our clients with spinal injuries. This collaboration ensures our caregiving approach reflects expert advice and insights from the Spinal Injury Association (SIA), resulting in specialized care that enhances overall outcomes, promotes well-being, and cultivates independence for our clients.
We offer a variety of care options tailored to your unique needs, including live-in care, daytime or nighttime shifts, or a blended approach. Our dedicated team of carers, who have undergone rigorous training from our experienced Clinical Team, stand ready to offer advice, support, and hands-on assistance at all times.
Day or night shifts
Our extensive complex care services are designed to allow individuals to enjoy a fulfilling and joyful life, all within the comfort of their own home. We provide various day and night support options, such as day shifts and waking night shifts, offering flexibility to suit your unique needs. Our highly trained carer teams are available to support you around the clock, right in your home. Equipped to handle a range of conditions, our carers are skilled in providing specialized care for complex physical injuries, brain injuries, neurological conditions, learning disabilities, capacity concerns, and more.
Clients generally have a team of 2-6 carers, depending on the required shift length, frequency, and the client's personal preferences. We manage the care schedules to avoid the need for relief carers, reducing the number of different individuals you interact with. Clients are actively involved in the carer selection process through meet-and-greet sessions, ensuring their comfort with the chosen care team. We focus on smooth transitions between carers to minimize disruption, ensuring all team members are well-briefed and ready for their shifts.
